More About Me

Caren would love to show you the Aiken lifestyle! Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she graduated from the University of Georgia and began a career as an engineer in the textile industry. That led to a career in commercial and residential interior design and project management.  After ten-plus corporate moves, Caren landed in Virginia and chose to enter the real estate business having gained enormous real-world experience as a Buyer and Seller. She worked for three years as an assistant to a top producing agent with Century 21 and then spent 12 years with a Prudential broker as a relocation counselor serving as a liaison between corporate and government relocation departments, transferees, and assigned Prudential agents.  Caren chose to move to Aiken to be closer to family involved in the equestrian community here and never looked back! After owning a horse farm in Virginia she fell in love with the charm, community feel and easy pace of life Aiken offers. The year-round equestrian shows and activities, strolling the quaint downtown shopping area and enjoying the multitude of fabulous restaurants, walking along Aiken’s famous South Boundary Avenue are among the many reasons Caren loves Aiken and wants to share it with you!  You’ll be in dedicated and caring hands with Caren by your side whether looking to buyer or sell a home with cottage charm or your dream horse farm!
